Craft Knife.
Cutting Board.
Corsage Pin.
Tweezers.
Aleene’s Tacky Glue or other thick white glue.
Fine paint brush or toothpick.
Perlite
Dried tea bag contents or used coffee grounds for soil.

Directions

Stamens - make 1 for each flower.
Dip 2" stem wires in a mixture of paint & glue (or glue a bead on the stem wire)
Hint: press a piece of fine tulle over paint & glue for more realistic effect.
 or
mix Perlite, paint & glue together and dip stem wire in this mixture.

Flowers - requires 2 petal pieces per flower.
  • Separate flower petals and use a corsage pin to pierce a hole in the middle of each petal piece.
  • Use a sharp craft knife to cut a small V in each of the five cut-outs of the petal.

  • Place a tiny ring of glue behind the paint & glue stamen, then slide one of the prepared petals up to sit underneath the stamen.

  • Add another ring of glue around the wire under the top petal.

  • Slide another petal up under the top petal  and offset so the petals sit between the spaces.

Leaves
Use lichen (dried seaweed) available from model railway outlets for the leaves.

Planter Box
To make a simple planter box glue two disposable razor covers together and paint with Duncan's Granite Stone paint in the colour of your choice.

Potting the Flowers

Fill small planter box with a mixture of perlite & glue and press small pieces of lichen into the mixture. Sprinkle with dried tea bag contents to simulate soil

Plant your flowers, as desired to make a pleasant arrangement. .
