Many thanks to Lucie for translating the Trinket Box into French.

Inspiration for this tutorial came from an advertisement in a magazine
- it kept calling out to me - pick me, pick me!!!

As a member of the Team Spirit Tutorial group, a branch of PSPMadeEZ, I was used to working in a team and coming up with different ideas from a given criteria.

I contacted the other two Aussie team members, Angel from Adelaide and Glynis from Melbourne and asked if they would like to be involved in an Aussie Team Challenge. I suggested we also contact another Aussie, Sandy from Cairns who does beautiful artwork, to see if she would like to be part of our group effort.

Variations of the basic tutorial by each team member are included to inspire you to experiment and make your own trinket box. As you will see, the possibilities are endless!

In the first part of this tutorial you will learn how to build up the basic trinket box, using selections. The second part of the tutorial shares ideas to inspire you to decorate your trinket box in any manner you choose. By using separate layers for each of the selections you can easily change your decorating ideas without having to re-do the whole tutorial.

MAKING CHANGES TO THE BASIC DECORATION.

If you decide you want to change a part of your trinket box click on the relevant layer (e.g. the frame outline) hit the Delete button to remove the original image. Load the desired selection again and re-do, following the basic instructions.

To change the picture part of the trinket box remove the layers containing the pictures and repeat the instructions from Step 8.

It may be necessary to Modify/Expand or Modify/Contract the insert panel selections depending on the type of effect used for the frame to avoid a jaggy edge. Alternatively, soften the edge using the Retouch Tool set to Smudge.
