This is your challenge should you choose to accept it.
Combine
any of these images using the
Arithmetic function.
Go to Image > Arithmetic to create a new
image.
You may also use any other PSP effects or
filters of your choice to complete your image.
No outside plugins allowed.
Once you understand the principles of the Arithmetic
function
you may decide to use some of your own images.
Please share the steps,
filters or functions used with the group so others
can experiment and
learn from your creative combinations if they wish.
This is an example to show you
what I mean.

- Hints & Tips
- Choose images with the same orientation to
maintain the correct perspective.
eg - two horizontal or two vertical images.
- Alternatively, crop or resize a
horizontal image to use with a vertical image
or vice versa..
- Image #1 governs the size and shape of the
combined image.
If you bought the boxed version of PSP8 and have
the book that came with it, go to page 323
or in the Help screen go to Search and type in Arithmetic for an explanation of
how it works.
The Arithmetic function is available in both Version 7and 8.

Tube Variation from Carol G.
Choose the image you want to use for your background.
Open a new transparent image the same size as your background image.
Select the tube you want to add to your transparent image.
Go to Image, Arithmetic with the Add Function
(play with the other settings if you wish)
Select your background image as Image #1
Select the tube image as Image #2.
Create your new image. This is a good way to make a muted, blended background.

If you want the tube to be more prominent select
the Arithmetic function again and set the new combined image as Image #1 and the
tube as Image #2. Click OK.
